Security and data

Where a run happens, how credentials are kept, and what is done to keep one customer's work apart from another's.

A run happens on our infrastructure. This page says what that means for your data. The full account, including where data is stored, who processes it and what is and is not certified, is on the Trust page.

In layers

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. That is the first layer, not the only one.

What leaves the platform

What a step sends goes wherever you told it to: the mail goes to its recipient, the HTTP request to its URL. Your own steps declare the domains they may reach, and published steps are reviewed before anybody else can install them.

Your run logs

Run logs are kept so you can read them, for as long as your plan's history allows, and they are yours to delete.

Reporting a problem

Found something that looks like a security issue? Mail hello@visualautomate.com with what you found and how to reproduce it.
