Credits and billing
What a run costs, how credits are counted, and what the free plan includes.
Runs are paid for with credits. Every plan comes with credits each month, and every run records what it cost, on the run itself rather than only on an invoice at the end of the month.
How a run is charged
It depends on what the run needs.
No machine is involved. Each step costs one credit each time it runs: ten steps are ten credits, and a step that repeats over a list of forty is forty.
The run gets an isolated sandbox, created for it and destroyed afterwards, and is charged for the time it is up, rounded up.
Loops
A step in a loop is charged per turn, because every turn is a step run. A loop is capped at 200 turns, so a list that quietly grew cannot spend a balance in one run.
Before and after a run
Before a run starts, an estimate is held from your balance. The run then settles on what it actually cost. A loop's length is only known when it is reached, so a long loop can cost more than was held; that difference is forgiven rather than taking your balance below zero.
AI steps
An AI step is a step like any other for credits. The model call itself is made with your own API key, so it is billed by the provider to your account with them, at their prices.
Plans
- Free. Five workflows and a hundred runs a month, no card, no time limit. Enough to build something real and find out whether it works; not enough to run a business on.
- Paid plans. More credits and runs a month, more steps per workflow, longer step time, more steps at once, longer run history and more team members.
The current plans, prices and limits are on the pricing page. They are read from the same table the platform enforces, so the page and the limits always agree.
Your balance
Open Credits in the dashboard to see your balance, what each run cost, and your history. When the balance runs out, runs stop before they start rather than halfway, and you can top up or change plan.
